Return of lab kits

The CSE Student Office in K17-111D will be open after the exam on Wednesday to receive your returned lab kit - please have your Student Card handy.

You can also return the kit by the end of the first week of Term 2 without incurring a penalty. The office is usually open during business hours.

You will be permitted to access your own files stored on a removable USB drive or on your CSE home drive during the exam, as well as access the WebCMS3 COMP3222/9222 web pages and make use of the fpga-basics virtual machine during the theory and practical exams.

Would you please check that you can access the vm fpga-basics from your CSE home login in the J17 level 3 CSE labs.

Check that you can access your CSE home drive from the vm .

Check that you can access any USB drive you wish to use during the exam from the vm .

Board check

For the sake of having a reliable BASYS 3 board for the upcoming practical exam, please check that the push buttons, switches, LEDs and 7-segment displays function correctly.

Please email Oliver with a brief description of any faults present along with the board number, and exchange the faulty board at the CSE Student Office in K17-111D during office hours before the final COMP3222 exam.

Faulty BASYS 3 boards

Would you please urgently get in touch with me via email if you have a BASYS 3 board in your possession that is faulty as we are trying to obtain replacement boards under warranty from the supplier.

Quiz results available from SMS

The quiz has been marked and results have been loaded into SMS. The chart below shows the mark distribution. Tricky questions will be discussed at next Wednesday's lec.

The Quiz will cover lectures numbered 1. - 5., which were presented in Weeks 1 - 6.

Sample Quiz questions have been added to the Week 7 entries of the Lectures and Exercises menus.
