Something went wrong with the audio in the last ten minutes of today's lecture.
I will give a summary of that material at the beginning of Thursday's lecture.
Click on "Assignments" under the "Course Work" menu to the left.
We believe the Thursday lecture recordings are finally available on Moodle. Please check this, and let us know if there is still any problem. As with the Tuesday lectures, it should be possible to watch them live, or to watch the recording afterwards.
By the way, even if you are enrolled in the Online stream, you are welcome to attend the lecture in person if you wish, so long as the capacity of the theatre is not exceeded (this is due to fire regulations).
Congratulations! We have successfully completed Week 1 of COMP3411/9814.
Please check your email for instructions on how to create an OpenLearning account and get access to the course materials, if you have not already done so.
We have contacted Teaching Support and asked them to solve the issue with the Thursday lecture recordings on Echo360 through Moodle. In the meantime, please follow the link under "Lectures" to the Week 1 Thursday video (copied to TheBox).
The course outline has been updated to show the release and due dates of the assignments.
I am looking forward to Week 2, where we will discuss Reactive Agents in more detail, and begin our study of Path Search algorithms.
Enjoy!
We are still trying to figure out why the Thursday lecture video is not visible on Moodle.
In the meantime, I have copied the video to TheBox; you can access it via this link:
I believe the Tuesday and Thursday lecture videos should now both be accessible on Moodle. You might have to click on "Courses" to toggle between them.
(There can sometimes be a lag of up to two hours between the lecture finishing and the video processing being complete and the video appearing on Moodle.)
I have added a link to the Week 1 Tuesday video, under "Lectures".
We are trying to resolve the issue with the OpenLearning Link and Access Code.
(We will post further details when they come to hand)
The first lecture for this course will be at 4pm on Tuesday 13 Februray 2024, in Patricia O'Shane 104 (formerly CLB 7).
