    For any one that is interested in getting feedback for assignment 3, there will be a tutor available for consultations on Wednesday 29, 2:00pm - 4:00pm in K17 level 4 consultation room 403.

  • Provisional Marks Released

    Provisional marks for COMP4418 are now available. Please note that these results have not yet been confirmed by the University and may be subject to change.

    I will be available 2:30 - 4:30pm Thursday 30 November (next week) or 2:30 - 3:30pm Friday 1 December in K17 104 on the first floor of the CSE (K17) building. to discuss any issues you have with the course and its assessments.

  • Assignment 3 submission date extension

    A number of people have pointed out that the assignment due date was right at the start of exams.

    Because of this we have extended the submission due date to now be after the exams. The new submission due date is 22 November, and the assignment PDF has been updated accordingly.

    I hope this new date is more suitable to everyone and good luck with your exams.


  • Practice Exam

    There is now a practice exam in the Exercises section. You can access it here . We can go over some of the question in the lecture today.

    Please note that this practice exam is indicative only of the types of questions you will get in the actual exam.

    I've just updated the assignment specification with some new submission details; changing the name of the submission file.

    To submit assignment 3 please name your answers "assn3.pdf" and run:

    give cs4418 assn3 assn3.pdf

    Because the assignment is short it is due on Friday 3 November.

    Welcome to the course COMP4418: Knowledge Representation and Reasoning. We will be having our first lecture today (Wednesday) from 3-6pm in the Tyree Energy Technology Building (TETB) located next Anzac Parade in room G16.
