Provisional marks for COMP4418 are now available. Please note that these results have not yet been confirmed by the University and may be subject to change.

Marks for all assignments are also available.

Non-cooperative games: helpful slide

Hi,

I have updated the slides for non-cooperative game theory Lecture 12 by adding a helpful slide on page 17 on weakly dominated actions.

When asked to compute a Nash equilibrium, it can be helpful to identify a weakly dominated action. Such an action is never played in a best response or a Nash equilibrium.

A practice written exam along with solutions is now available under the Course Work -> Exercises. This paper is provided to help you prepare for the final written exam.

Assignment 2 results and consultations [Update]

The results for Assignment 2 are now available. For anyone who is interested in feedback for Assignment 2, there will be a consultation session on Monday 29/10/2018, 14:00 to 16:00, in the meeting room next to the HoS office in K17, level 1. Please bring your student ID card.

Update: The consultation is on 29 October (that is, next Monday), not November! Apologies for the wrong date.

Please note that the location of this Monday's (20 August) lecture has been changed to the Red Centre Theatre.

All future lectures will return to Colombo Theatre B.
