Joining Piazza

Dear All,

We have sent invitations to join the course in Piazza please make sure to join the course and please if you may use the same name you have used in UNSW records.

As We mentioned in the previous notice you need to form groups in Week1 so that in Week2 we start the mentoring sessions. please take the opportunity after the lecture to discuss with your peers and from your groups. We prefer that you for your groups since you can match each other's expertise and ideally create a group with various skill sets which could help with things going smoothly in the group project. In the cases of not being able to attend or not finding a group you can also use the group formation feature in Piazza to indicate your availability and comment on your interests and skills and hopefully you can form your group. Please send your group details to (m.al-banna@unsw.edu.au) by the end of Week1. use the e-mail title (COMP6324 group formation) and include all the group members names and zIDs in the body of the e-mail)

In the case of not forming a group and sending the details by the end of Week1 I will put you in a team randomly.

Dear All,

We would like to welcome you to COMP6324 (IoT Service Design and Engineering) and we hope that you'll learn and enjoy the course to the fullest.

Please be advised for the following:

• The first lecture is this Tuesday the 18th of February at 6:00 PM in Quadrangle 1043 (Hope to see you all there).
• As COMP6324 is a project based course so we need to form groups in Week1 as the mentoring sessions start in Week2. We prefer that you form your own groups but if by the end of Week1 you are not in a group we will assign you to one randomly.
• We are going to use Piazza as the course communication platform. You will receive an invitation to join the course in Piazza shortly so please accept the invitation as all the communications, course material and submissions are going to be in Piazza. it would also be great if your name in Piazza is the same name we have in UNSW records to minimize any confusion.
