Your results are now available from your CSE account using
9020 classrun -sturec
To pass the course, your Exam mark must be ≥25 and the Sum must be ≥50.
You can obtain detailed feedback on your marks for the exam by using:
9020 classrun -collect FinalExam
Unfortunately we cannot reopen the Moodle exam for review since variations of these questions may be reused in another form in future exams. But if you did not pass the course and have further questions about your marks then you can email me personally.
The university has a policy to disallow any adjustments to near-misses of higher grades, and they use statistical methods to check for compliance. In a large class such as ours, inevitably some of you will have been missing out on a higher grade by just 1 mark, in which case I apologise for what is simply bad luck, but please note that all open questions were marked individually and under the same marking criteria for everyone, and then we are not allowed to make individual adjustments.
Congratulations to the following students for scoring 95 or higher:
Desheng Liu
Ruiqi Min
Haixin Ou
Qi Wang
Yuhang Zhou
Anh Nguyen
Ahmad Naghim Fauzaini Prawirosoenoto
Hongguang Zhou
Yanlin Chen
Barry Zeng
Aaron Cheng
Tingyu Shi
Justin Zhang
Isabelle Peng
Yash Sawant
Well done!
Enjoy your term break and best of luck with your future studies.
Michael
Dear COMP9020 Student,
Just a quick note that I will be teaching COMP9024 in Term 2 this year instead of Term 3. The school asked me if I was willing to change, and I agreed. The reason I am putting up this notice is just because in my last lecture I said T3, which was the plan until yesterday. It will take a few days for timetabling to update the records. (The lecture times will not change.)

Your mark for the mid-term test is now also available from your CSE account using
9020 classrun -sturec
In addition, we have prepared individual electronic feedback with your detailed marks, which you can access from your CSE account using
9020 classrun -collect midterm
On Moodle you can now also review your answers and see feedback for the multiple choice questions. Please do note that Moodle does
not
show your mark because the open questions were marked outside of Moodle, and the system does not allow us to upload marks. You can find your marks for the individual questions on your scoresheet as indicated above.
Please continue to respect UNSW's policy to not copy, record, photograph or translate any of the questions of the test. You can email us at cs9020@cse.unsw.edu.au if you have any further questions about your marks.
See you on Wednesday,
Michael
