Fifteen cases - tests were used for scoring. The assignment has to pass 10 tests to get the full mark - 10. Five tests have two versions of output (2x5) to cover two possible solutions.

Solutions for Week 5: Graph Algorithms - part II are published in Problem Sets - Week 5.
The assignment has now been released and can be found on the course webpage under Assignment.
The main topic is problem solving with graph data structures and graph search. Since the assignment gives you a lot of freedom to develop your own approach to the problem, readability of your program will be very important.
Please make sure you follow the practices of good programming principles of structured programming and use good commenting.
The assignment is due on Monday 23 November at 12:00am.
From this week, Week7, until Week10 there will be three Virtual Help labs to offer additional help if you have difficulties with the assignment.

A general comment on the results:
Detecting memory leaks - one of the tests was checking whether all dynamically allocated memory was free()'d.This is very important, so 25% was deducted from the overall result when a program was found to have memory leaks.
A comment on not-marked submissions:
We had problems with automarking a few submissions. Those will be manully checked. The students will be informed via email when the marks and the comments are available.

The Livestream lectures
I have prepared a reacquiring livestream lectures on BB Collaborate. For some unknown reason, when our tutor was setting up the Help Sessions, he was able to override the lecture session scheduled for today. We will investigate what happened.
