    Dear All,

    first thank you all for participating in the course and we hope that you have learned and enjoyed the course.

    A great thanks as well goes to the teaching team for their great efforts and constant follow up and suggestions.

    Regarding the MyExperiece Survey, just to make it clear you don't need to confirm with the mentors, just if you may do it on your own time in the spirit of helping us improve. I'm very thankful for the student who have already participated in the survey and would appreciate if all of you participate.

  • Assignment 3 - Submission & Demo

    Please be noted that:

    • The last commit on your code repository will be considered as your submission date.
    • In the demo, you need to clone the code from the GitHub and run the cloned project (not the one you already have in your computer).
    • The deadline is 21 Oct 23:59 and you will be penalised by 20% per each 24 hours for late submission.

  • Quiz 4 extended till Friday 12/10/2018 @ 10 AM

    • This is just a reminder that this Thursday is a quiet week (no lecture this week)
    • Focus on the projects and the meetings with the mentors
    • The final lecture is on Next week to summarise what you have learned in this course, and to have an open discussion on the learning experience and projects.

    By tomorrow you need to finalize your groups; if you are not in any group, we will create groups with remaining students;

    A tutor will be assigned to your group. Then they will give you the available time slots; and you need to book two sessions in week 11 and 12; and another for the demo.

    The assignment 2 due has been updated. Now you have 2 more days to submit the assignment.
    However, after the deadline, you will have only two days for late submissions; and each day you will be penalised by 33% of your mark.

    The 3rd assignment will be released in a couple of days. It is a group assignment, and you need to team up within groups of 4 to 5 people. Please start finding your teammates and create groups: https://webcms3.cse.unsw.edu.au/COMP9321/18s2/groups/create

    When you are creating a group, choose the group type titled "Assignment Three Groups".

    The source API has pagination; in order to get all of data you need to send many request to import a single collection; however, you are required to get only first two pages instead of all:

    REASON : the source API will ban your (and tutors') IP addresses if you send too many requests

  • Labs

    There is a lab every day (from week 2 to week 10) and the lab tutor will help you to learn more with more ease.

    Labs are held in various times of the day, so you can attend what suits you best. While attending labs is not mandatory, we highly encourage to go through lab material every week and attend labs to make yourself ready for assignments.
