The deadline for assignment 3 is extended for one day, the new deadline is: Monday (12th August) 23:59 .

MyExperience Participation - Reminder

Thanks for those who have participated in the MyExperience Survey, we will appreciate it for the others who have not participated yet to take some time to participate in the survey as we still have very low response rate (only 3/43 students, 6.98% participation). The survey will be closed on 15th August 23:59.

Assignment 3 Final Mark - Updated

There was an error in assignment 3 final mark percentage (15%), it is fixed and updated to 10% same as previous two assignments.

Uploading Week 8 - Lecture 1: "Cognitive Services - Introduction, Concept, Design" presentation file

There is an issue on WebCMS that we can't upload the file, however, it will be fixed soon as we have contacted technical support team.

Regarding Quiz 3 and Assignment 2

Today 11p.m. is the deadline for quiz 3. Please note that there will be no extensions or make-up quizzes later.

For the query part of the assignment 2, refer to SPARQL query writing with RDFlib. https://rdflib.readthedocs.io/en/stable/intro_to_s...

We will evaluate the SPARQL queries written within the python code submitted.

Quiz 3 and Assignment 2 are online.

You can now complete quiz 3 available under Activities. Deadline is 16th July 11p.m.

You can attempt the quiz multiple times. The correct answers will be displayed to you on 17th July.

Assignment 2 specification is available under Assignments. Submit your solutions to Drobpox link provided, by Tuesday 23rd July (week 8). Lecture 11 (Thursday- week 6) and week 7 lab will provide guidance for the assignment activities.

You can use tutorial time on week 7 to ask questions about the assignment as well.

Bring your laptop to the lecture

Do not forget to bring your own laptop to the lecture today.

You have to complete it after the class and show at one of the Monday labs.

Thursday tutorial sessions will be continue as usual.

Use the lab hours to demonstrate your lab activities and the tutorial session to get technical help

Labs:

• Monday 14:00 to 15:00 (Oboe)
• Monday 16:00 to 17:00 (Sitar)

Tutorial:

• Thu 15:00 to 16:00 (Mathews 107)

Bring your laptop to the lecture

Do not forget to bring your own laptop to the lecture today.
Today's lecture will be about designing documentation for APIs and generating codes automatically based on the documentation.
We will do an activity together, which you need to complete later after the class and present during Week-3.
So be prepared for the first lab activity in Week 3! Don't forget you need to participate at 5 labs in different weeks and present your work to get full marks for the lab activities.
