It appears that a lot of all of you are getting LE (= late entry) for your final COMP9334 grade. I am following up with the School on why this is the case. I will update you as soon as I have information. I ask for your patience.
The project marks are now available. At the course website, you will find your name at the bottom of the menu bar on the left. Click on the bar-chart-like icon to the right of your name and you will be able to see your marks.
Note that these marks may change subject to plagiarism enquiries. Note that this is a standard procedure and you do not have to worry if you did your own work.
I have put a post in the forum to explain how we marked the project and to discuss some common mistakes in the project.
The solution to the sample exam is now available on the course website. Navigate to the menu on the left, under "Course Work".
Please note that I have added code testing to the project submission portal. The submission system will attempt to run your run_test.sh and compare your output to the expected output. You will found additional information at the forum thread:

I understand that many students who are taking COMP9334 are currently not located in Sydney. Please note that daylight saving time has ended in Sydney last weekend. If you are attending the live on-line lecture, please do check check the time difference.
The assignment marks are now available. At the course website, you will find your name at the bottom of the menu bar on the left. Click on the bar-chart-like icon to the right of your name and you will be able to see your marks.

I will put a post in the forum to discuss some common mistakes in the assignment.
I have added a set of project conditions to the project specifications. You can find them in Section 8.1 of the updated specs. The key points of the project conditions are: your project must be your own work, no sharing or distribution of project work in any form. These conditions are fairly standard among CSE courses.
The project is now available. To view it, go to the course website and look for the Project link on the menu.
The project is on discrete event simulation. We have completed our lectures on discrete event simulation so you are ready to work on the project.
Please note that Week 6 is Flexibility Week and there won't be any lectures. Consultation will continue to take place at the usual time. Lectures will resume in Week 7.
Please also note that the course website will be unavailable 8-10am Monday 21 March because of server maintenance.
The assignment is now available. To view it, go to the course website and look for the Assignment link on the menu.
You should be able to attempt Question 1 of the assignment now, and work on Questions 2 and 3 after this week's lectures.
Some of you have difficulty with accessing the Ed forum. This can be because I enrolled you in Ed using your zID-based email address (such as z1234567@unsw.edu.au) but you are using your name-based alias (such as sam.smith@unsw.edu.au) to log into Ed. What you need to do is to log into Ed, go to "Settings", then choose "Email" and add your zID-based email address there so that it is associated with your Ed account. This should fix the problem.
I mentioned in the lecture that we will be using the discussion forum on Ed ( www.edstem.org ) for coursework discussion because it has a better interface and richer features than the one on the course website. I have sent you an invitation to register for the forum shortly and I ask you to accept the invitation so that you can access the forum.
The lecture recording for today's lecture (Tue of Week 1) is now available. On the course website, click on "Lectures" and you will find a link under Week 1 for the recording. Future lecture recordings will be made available in a similar manner.
Note that on the course website, the recording is placed inside a "frame" and some browsers (e.g. Chrome) may say "media type cannot be played". You can fix that by clicking the "View in Browser" button near the top-right corner of the frame, the contents of the frame will then be placed in a new tab and you will be able to play it.
