The first session for COMP9444 will be on Monday 12 September at 2pm (AEST).
All the Monday 2pm sessions will be online, via this URL:
https://unsw.zoom.us/j/86989338444
If Zoom asks you for a password, you should enter: 944422
All the Thursday 12 o'clock sessions will be hybrid. Regardless of how you are enrolled in the course, you have the choice to attend either in person in Central Lecture Block 7, or online via the above URL.
The materials for this course will be delivered through the Ed platform:
https://edstem.org/au/courses/9859/
If you have not previously had an Ed account, you should look for an email invitation in your inbox and click on it to create an account on Ed. If you have previously used Ed for another course (for example, COMP9021) then you will not receive an email invitation but will instead be given access to COMP9444 through your existing Ed account. The email format we have used is z1234567@unsw.edu.au. If you have two separate Ed accounts, you might be able to merge them using:
accounts → settings → merge accounts
If you have any difficulties, or if you need us to re-send the invitation to a different email address, let us know.
Please log in to Ed, read through the Week 1a materials, watch the embedded videos, and be ready to ask questions about the material during the Monday 2pm session.
Cheers,
- Alan, Sonit and Armin
