Dear Students,
Please find the Peer Group Assessment Form here .
You do not need to submit a peer group assessment form if you believe everyone contributed equally (approximately) in your team or if there are no concerns regarding someone's contribution to the project.
Once you fill it, please email it to cs9444@cse.unsw.edu.au
The deadline for submitting a peer-review form is 15 August 2025, 11:59 pm . Any submissions after 15 August will not be considered for adjusting project marks, given there is a tight timeline for releasing and uploading marks.
Best regards,COMP9444 Admin Team
The last lecture for COMP9444 will be Tomorrow (Wednesday 30 July) at 11am in the Science Theatre, with a guest lecture by Jingying Gao on Multimodal and Agentic AI, followed by a brief Course Review and some information about the Final Exam.
There will be no lectures in Week 10; but I have posted a video from my recent talk at Skeptics in the Pub about the Societal Implications of Generative AI.
In view of the short time frame for Part 3 of the Assignment, there will be no late penalty for submission on Tuesday 8 July (until 10pm). However, the late penalty of 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% will still apply for submission on July 9, 10, 11 and 12.
Remember – these late penalties only apply to the
maximum
mark for the assignment.
For those still working on Part 3 of the Assignment, you might find this video helpful:

Hi everyone.
The BOM (Bureau of Meteorology) has issued a Severe Weather Warning for Tuesday 1st July.
UNSW has advised staff that they should only travel to campus for essential work.
CSE as a whole will be moving as many classes as possible online tomorrow.
Hence, for our lecture tomorrow, it will be held online via Zoom.
Please use this link to join: https://unsw.zoom.us/j/81926987016?pwd=mBTTKb6fEuH6c5wGTcAbK2c7SgvODn.1
UNSW recommends that you avoid traveling when possible and should only attend campus if you are required to do so.
I will also record the Zoom meeting and upload it to Echo360 afterwards.
Stay safe!
Best,

An Opal Card was found in the Science Theatre after Tuesday's lecture.
If it is yours, please come to the Wednesday lecture to collect it, or email the class account to arrange for collection.
Tutorials for this course will start in Week 1, which means that some students will have their first Tutorial on Monday 2 June, before the first lecture on Tuesday 3 June (2pm in the Science Theatre). These students should work through the
Tutorial Questions
beforehand, after watching the four short videos linked at the top of the page.
