    Hi everyone, marks of project demos have been released. You can check it via give.

    Project demo presentations have been uploaded to Echo360 as well.

    Please be reminded that myExperience survey is closing soon. We would really appreciate your feedback, especially that this is the first time we are running the course.

    We hope that you have learned a lot this term and good luck with all your final exams!

    Please note that the Q&A/Feedback session for project demo will be held 3-4pm this Thursday. Each group will be allocated 10 minutes and everyone is expected to be present.     If you need more help from the tutors for your demo or report, you can schedule another consultation session this week as well.

    Literature review presentations of all groups have been uploaded to Echo360 and you can view them there.

    During the flexibility week, you can organise project consultations with your tutors, and we'll answer questions on Teams as usual.

    On Wednesday, we'll have 1 hour lecture (11-12) followed by the project consultations; and Thursday will be all for project consultations. You can join the project consultations using the Teams link at your time slot.

  • Assignments 1 & 2

    Hi everyone, we've decided to change the format of Assignment 2 to pre-recorded presentations (to be submitted by 1pm Wednesday next week) and live Q&A on Thursday. The assignment spec has been updated and schedule for Q&A has been uploaded to Course Work -> Assessments as well.

    Submissions of Assignments 1 and 2 will be accepted in Teams. Just upload the PDF files and video recordings under "Files" in your own group channel.

  • Project consultations in Week 4

    In Week 4, we'll provide project consultations 12-1pm Wednesday and 2-4pm Thursday. Each group is allocated a specific time slot. The schedule has been uploaded to Course Work -> Lectures -> Week 4. We'll use Teams meeting for this as usual.

    These consultations will help you develop your project ideas before you finalise the project proposal and presentation. You can also post questions in your Teams channel prior to these consultation sessions so that we'll have more effective discussion during the consultation.

    The specification of Assignment 2 - Literature Review is now uploaded (under Course Work -> Assessments).

    Now everyone has joined a group, please start preparing the project proposal and literature review presentation early. You are welcome to post questions in your Teams group channel, and we'll answer the questions there.

    Just a reminder that you can post messages on Teams (under the "Discussion" channel in the group) to find members for your group. Some nice discussion has started there already. If you don't use Teams regularly, it would be good to keep an eye on the group.

  • Welcome to COMP9491: Applied AI

    Welcome to the course COMP9491: Applied AI.

    This term is the first offering of this course. Please read through the Course Outline and we will provide more detailed introduction in the first lecture next week. We will use MS Teams for lectures and consultation sessions and detailed information will follow soon. All sessions will be conducted live and recordings will be uploaded to Echo360, which you can access via Moodle.

    We hope you will have a great learning experience. If you have any feedback about the course, please feel free to let us know anytime throughout the term (email: cs9491@cse.unsw.edu.au).
