Please register your groups on the class website under the Groups → Group Project (NOT under the Default section).
Also, include your PROJECT TITLE under the " Description " field when you are creating it.
While many students appeared to have their project idea and group sorted out as of last Thursday, we find that only 6 project groups have registered online so far.
NOTE THAT A PROJECT WILL NOT BE AUTOMATICALLY ASSIGNED. Each group needs to discuss amongst themselves, consult a tutor if necessary, and select a project topic.
This is your last chance to register your group and tentative project title .
You have until midnight tonight to do so.
On Tuesday morning, we shall group students who have NOT registered a group online, however they still need to find a common project.
We shall not assign projects automatically to these groups. Tutors may be consulted during consultation hours to discuss project ideas, however there is very little time left for the presentations on Thursday.
The Interim Project Presentations will take place on Thursday April 26th, 12.05 PM onwards in class.
The
presentation slides should be submitted by
Thursday April 26th,
9.00 AM
, and we shall have them uploaded on the class computer. This is to avoid wasting time with thumb drives, google docs etc on the day. We have a tight schedule and cannot allow extra time for this purpose. Do use a recognisable file name (not just presentation.pptx for example), so that it does not clash with another group's presentation. If you have not submitted your presentation file in time, your group's presentation may be moved to the end, in order not to delay other presentations.
The associated report MUST be submitted online by Thursday 26th, 11.59 PM .
Every group member MUST be present for their group's presentation . One or more speakers from the group may present, however all members should be there on the stage and ready to take questions.
All are encouraged to attend ALL presentations and provide feedback to your peers.
The submissions can be done here:
Report Submission: Course Work → Assessments →.Project → Project Interim Report Submission.
Presentation Slides Submission: Course Work → Assessments →.Project → Project Interim Presentation Slides Submission.
Week 8 Presentation Guidelines have been up since yesterday at Assessments---> Project
The deadline to register your project group online is midnight of Friday April 20th.
Anyone without a group will get assigned to one after the deadline.
Please form 3 member groups for the project and register your group name on the class website under the Groups → Group Project by Friday 20th April.
Group name should preferably be a combination of the member names.
