This is to let you know that the wrap up Week 10 lecture notes are now released. You can find them under Lectures. Because of Anzac Day public holiday, there will be no lecture for Week 10.
If you have any queries regarding the remaining submissions, that is, the Report, the Final System, as well as the optional Peers Evaluation, please post them in the Q and A area of this course Website.
The
Project Demo Schedule
is now released. You can find it under Project.
All the best for your demo.
The Project Demo Schedule is now released. You can find it under Project.
As mentioned by your mentor/tutor in the lab, the final demonstration of your project will take place during the last lab in Weeks 10 and 11, and the final submissions of your project will be due by Wednesday 1 May 2019 @ 23.59 (Week 11) for both the report and the final system and the following day Thursday 2 May 2019 @ 23.59 (Week 11) for the optional peers evaluation.
Please note that the submission links for the above three assessments have already been created in WebCMS3.
You may refer to the Assessment Guidelines as well as to your mentor/tutor instructions regarding how the demo will run and what you need to submit in your final submission. It also includes some marking guidelines.
Please note that all group members must be present for the project demo otherwise they will get zero mark for that assessment unless they have applied for a Special Consideration and it was approved.
This is to let you know that Project Proposal marks are released in both SMS and WebCMS3.
For teams who choose Student-Tutor Support System Chatbot (Project 1) WebCMS3 data is now available.

This is a gentle reminder that your group Project Proposal worth 10% is due tonight Friday 08/03/2018 @ 23.59pm.
Please note that only one member (the Scrum Master) submits the Project Proposal on behalf of the group.
All the best.
Could you please update your group/team details under Groups in the course website in WebCMS3 and specify the Scrum Master (as Admin). If your group details are already there and up to date then ignore that.
This is to let you know that the Project Proposal Submission link is now available. Please see the right part of the course website on WebCMS3 for Upcoming Due Dates. There is one item "Project Proposal Submission" which is due Friday 8 March 2019 @ 23:59 (end of Week 3). Please also remember that only one member of the team (the Scrum Master) must submit the Project Proposal.
This is to let you know that extra useful information about Projects 1 and 2 has been provided. You can find them under Project > Topics.
Please do have a look at this additional information while working on your project proposal.
There are a number of accounts that are not linked to any zID in GitHub Classroom (see the list of these accounts here as well as what to do to fix that).
Please note that it is very important that your GitHub account is linked to your zID to monitor your project progress.
Welcome to COMP3900 (Computer Science Project) / COMP9900 (Information Technology Project).
Please have a look at the Course Outline and at the Assessment Guidelines (under Project page) to make yourself familiar with the course objectives and assessments requirements.
Please note that you will be working on a given generic project in a team of four (4) members from your lab under the supervision of a mentor that checks on your project progress on a weekly basis.
Please also note that labs (or mentoring sessions) will start in Week 1 , that is, next week 18/02/2019 for Monday labs, well before our first lecture next Thursday 21/02/2019. It is very important that you turn up during Week 1 labs for group formation, project selection, and project brainstorming.
