As you already know, in response to COVID-19, UNSW is moving all courses online as of tomorrow Wednesday 18 March 2020.
For COMP3900/9900, this means that, from tomorrow, all mentoring sessions (except Weeks 10/11 formal project demo) will be conducted online. We will let you know how the Weeks 10/11 formal project demo/presentation will be conducted in due course.
We are looking at the best technologies to use to do online meetings such as Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, MS Teams, Zoom, and Skype.
Your tutor/mentor will get in touch with you to let you know how your team's mentoring session will be organised and carried out online.
Stay safe and well.

This is to let you know that Jira App has been installed in GitHub Organisation and all repositories have access to it. This app will help connect your GitHub repository to your Jira site.
Please follow the instructions given under GitHub Classroom page to join GitHub Classroom.
Could you please update your group/team details under Groups in WebCMS3 course website and specify the Scrum Master (as Admin). If your team details are already there and up to date then ignore that.
We know that some students are currently unable to attend COMP3900/9900 classes because of recent travel restrictions.
Some students have told us they are currently travelling. Some students have told us they are in Sydney but can't attend classes because they are self-isolating .
If you can get to UNSW by Friday 28 February 2020 and can attend your Week 3 classes, we look forward to having you in COMP3900/9900. Please make sure to create/join a team, select/come up with a project, and start working on your Proposal assignment which is due Sunday Week 3.
If you can not travel to UNSW to attend Week 3 classes, you unfortunately can not take COMP3900/9900 this term. Attendance in labs is necessary to complete COMP3900/9900. You will then need to change your enrollment.
There is information here to help you with changing your enrolment and other questions and you can contact The Nucleus for more help.
We look forward to seeing you at UNSW when you can travel here.
Welcome to COMP3900 (Computer Science Project) / COMP9900 (Information Technology Project).
Please have a look at the Course Outline, the Assessment Guidelines (under Assessments page), and the available generic projects (under Projects page) to make yourself familiar with the course objectives, assessments requirements as well as this term's available projects to choose from if you wish or come up with your own project subject to mentor/lecturer approval.
Please note that you will be working on a project in a team of five (5) members from your lab under the supervision of a mentor that checks on your project progress on a weekly basis.
Please also note that labs (or mentoring sessions) start in Week 1 . It is very important that you turn up during Week 1 labs for team formation , project selection , and project brainstorming.
Our first lecture is scheduled today Monday 17/02/2020 @ 7pm at Keith Burrows Theatre (K-J14-G5).
