In Task-3, you need to use your vs values, and some of you are failing the Task-3 test due to small error in your vs values. The following are possible options in case you are experiencing this issue.
Submit your assignment, and check if it still fails the Task-3 test or not. If you still fail the task-3 test, try to avoid calculating very small values. If you cannot achieve this or don't have time, don't worry, you will still get marks for the task-3 tests, as far as your logic is correct.
We have now auto-marked Assignment-1, next week your tutor will award you marks for "Style" and also adjust marks for auto-marking part, if required (like change in wordings for error message). Meanwhile if you want, you can collect your auto-marked submission by going to the following page and clicking on " Collect Submission " tab. Again, please note that your tutor will browse through the auto-marking part, and adjust marks if the auto-tests incorrectly marked your submission.

Please note that Virtual Lab 2 (Matlab) is now available under Week 8's Lab. You have been sent an email invitation to enrol in the virtual lab which is hosted on Matlab Grader. The lab is due 09am on Thursday 08 August 2019.

Based on the queries I received in the last few days, in today's (22/July) lecture we discussed few points regarding Assignment-1. In case you missed the lecture, please watch today's lecture, from 12:30 min to 21:30 min . (go to Lecture Recordings ). The topics include (and many more): not writing code (declaring variables) outside your function , how to use a function from previous step, regarding the last function - "data_series" is a similarity list (no need to calculate similarity), no need to use any of the first three functions in the last function, etc. Please watch the lecture (only 10 mins) for clarifications.
Also, you can submit your submission multiple times, only the last submission will be marked.
Late penalty (10% per day) only applies to maximum marks you can get, so if you submit say 2 days late, and receive 20/25, your marks are not affected. Only if you receive more than 20/25, your marks will be capped to 20/25 (for 2 days late submission). Note that Assignment-1 is worth 10% of the final marks.
Instructions on how to submit your ENGG1811 Assignment-1 is now available in the Submission section. The due date/time is 9am, Tuesday of Week-08 .
