As mentioned by George in the earlier post, Lab 10 will help you familiarise yourself with the exam environment and offer practice questions. • Week 10 Lab Practice Exam

Posted by George Muscat šŸŒ± Monday 31 July 2023, 03:51:43 PM.

    Hello!

This week's lab will involve a shorter version of the exam.

For students with scheduled in person classes, you will be able to log in to the exam environment, which differs from the normal vlab environment.

For students with scheduled online classes, I strongly suggest you attend an inperson class at any time this week (please bring your laptop), as we are only granting access to the exam environment in person.

For students that are unable to make it in person, we will release the questions to be completed, however you will be missing valuable experience exploring and using the exam environment so please attend in person if possible.

  • Welcome to Week 07!

Posted by Ashesh Mahidadia Tuesday 11 July 2023, 07:52:52 AM.

Welcome back! Hopefully, you are now more energised and well-prepared for the following four weeks, during which we will cover a wide variety of fascinating topics. We'll start out today by learning how to model complex systems. Simulation is crucial in engineering fields where new systems/processes must be designed, developed, and/or optimised. This topic is important because it is related to your second assignment, so make sure you master it.

Just a friendly reminder that Submission Instructions are available and that Assignment 1 is due at 6pm on Thursday. Please note that although you are allowed to submit more than once, only the most recent submission will be marked.

Posted by George Muscat šŸŒ± Thursday 01 June 2023, 01:19:02 PM.

    Hi all!

Tomorrow we will have our first live coding session of the term - this will be an opportunity to go through some coding examples to reinforce lecture content from the past week.

I would highly encourage everyone to join as you can follow along with the amazing Alicia as she completes the tasks. These will be set out similar to exam and assignment problems, so are good practice for upcoming assessments.

Please join via BlackBoard Collaborate (through Moodle).

Looking forward to seeing you there!
