Thanks to all the teams that have presented today, all demonstrations were truly impressive.
Examiners have selected the following teams to present next week for the Macquarie prize: OG_SENG1ACrew, Better Half, HyperChicken, TODO Team Name, Traitors & Eleven51. All details will be emailed separately.
All other teams are welcome to attend the presentations which will take place Tuesday 25th October between 10am-12pm in CSE Building Level 1 Seminar Room.
-Week 12 demos will be conducted in 2 rooms according to the timetable on Tuesday
-Shortlisted teams for Macquarie prize will be notified the same evening or the next day
-Macquarie prize presentations will take place on Tuesday, 25 th of October between 10 and 12 in level one seminar room in cse building
-Please put all your files including design documents and codes in an on-line repository. Then email a link to the repository AND a link to your hosted website to your mentor by Friday 5.00 PM. The repository will only be inspected (not executed) so there is no need to provide all the public libraries or binary codes.
Students are free to use any hosting service they wish, however for those with no preference we suggest using DigitalOcean. It has good support for all common platforms out of the box, and is likely to avoid any compatibility issues. While Digital Ocean is a paid service, all students at UNSW can get enough credit through https://education.github.com/pack to host their websites on DigitalOcean for at least half a year.
-Mentoring will take place in sual time (additional mentoring possible if needed)

A reminder that all groups must be finalised Tuesday Week 2. Students with no group should contact me Tuesday before (i.e. 9.30am-10am) or after the guest lectures (12-12.30pm).
From Week 3, mentoring will occur between 9 am and 1 pm. Most groups will be scheduled from 9 am to 11 am but groups that wish to be mentored between 11 am and 1 pm should let me know.
There will be two guest lectures on Web technologies and architectures by industry, starting at 10am,
I will be available from 9.30am for students who have questions or issues in forming teams.
