  • Showcase Your Project: CodingFest Opportunity

Posted by Mingqin Yu 20 days ago, last modified 20 days ago.

    Hello SENG2021 Students

It's been inspiring to see some of your innovative software applications and demos. From your demonstrations, we have been inspired by several great application ideas that solve real-world problems through introducing creative software features.

Many groups showed great passion for the project work they have done and produced very good quality software applications. I strongly recommend you to pursue the project journey and showcase it in relevant venues (e.g., academic and industry events, competitions) across the University and externally. Below is one potential venue that might be of interest to showcase and participate in this CodingFest event that is open for University students. This event accepts coding projects, besides the key areas listed, that involved solving problems through software applications. The poster submission is straightforward. The deadline is on Frida 25 Apr. There are monetary awards and of course great recognition of achievement supported by the industry. Further details can be found on the CodingFest webpage.

  • 🚀 Confluence Access Issue Resolved. Let’s Keep Going! 🌟

Posted by Mingqin Yu 2 months ago.

    Hi everyone,

The Confluence access issues some of you experienced since yesterday should be resolved now. Feel free to access your Confluence space whenever it’s convenient for you.

    Suggested Action for All Groups:
It looks like some issues occurred for few groups because the setup instructions weren’t followed correctly. To prevent this from happening again, please check the suggestions I shared in today’s announcement and copy and paste your content to the new space I’ve set up for you as soon as possible.

Keep up the group work. If you encounter any more issues or need help, just post your questions on Ed.

  • Confluence Documentation Access – Quick Update & Action

Posted by Mingqin Yu 2 months ago.

    Hi everyone,

Hope you're enjoying your group work so far and had a good Flexi Week.

If your group is using Confluence for documentation, please read this carefully and take action if needed.

We’ve noticed some groups are experiencing technical issues with accessing their Confluence documentation. To prevent further problems, please copy and paste your Confluence documentation to your backup space here: https://unsw-seng-2025.atlassian.net/wiki/home

You can choose to continue using this new space for the rest of the term or keep using your original space, but the new one is recommended for better reliability.

Your group space is set up using your class code and group name, followed by the suffix SENG2021 25T1 . All members who previously accepted the invitation should have access. If someone is missing, any group member can send them an invite, or you can post a request on Ed for assistance.
