Students working on company returns API,
As some of you discussed with your mentors there were some mismatches in table provided in spec and data provided by Alpha Vintage API. This was because Alpha Vintage is returning erroneous data for certain time intervals and specs were done using Yahoo data.
I updated the specs to reflect Alpha Vintage API data and you can follow the formula as is, on data returned by Alpha Vantage API, without trying to correct errors done by Alpha Vantage API. Accuracy will be evaluated assuming you used Alpha Vantage API.
Contact your mentors if you have further concerns.
On Tuesday, there will be a couple of lectures given between 10 and 12 in the Chemical Sciences building M11 (so no lecture between 9 and 10). During the first lecture, I will be going over the specification of the analytics platform as well as give more information about designing REST services. The second lecture will be a guest lecture by IMC.
Therefore, there are no regular mentoring meetings but you could e-mail your mentor for arranging a mentoring session anytime this week or ask questions over emails all the time.
Mentoring will take place as usual. Week 4 deliverable is due on Friday.
Mentoring will take place according to the timetable. Discuss your first deliverable due in Week 4 with your mentor.
