  • Calculation example of company returns API spec

Posted by Madhushi Bandara Thursday 29 March 2018, 03:08:03 PM.

Students working on company returns API,

As some of you discussed with your mentors there were some mismatches in table provided in spec and data provided by Alpha Vintage API. This was because Alpha Vintage is returning erroneous data for certain time intervals and specs were done using Yahoo data.

I updated the specs to reflect Alpha Vintage API data and you can follow the formula as is, on data returned by Alpha Vantage API, without trying to correct errors done by Alpha Vantage API. Accuracy will be evaluated assuming you used Alpha Vantage API.

Contact your mentors if you have further concerns.
