The COMP1911 Bridging Course will be running in week0 of T3.
That is the 4th-9th of September.
Completion of the bridging course will give you the opportunity to enroll in any course that has COMP1511 as a prerequisite.
Note that COMP1521 doesn't have COMP1511 as a prerequisite, so can be completed without the doing the bridging course.
But COMP1511 itself, nor the bridging course will appear on your academic transcript.
in fact passing or failing the bridging course will not effect your WAM in any way.
The Bridging Course will consist of 3 main topics: ADTs, Linked Lists, and Recursion.
There will be:
two online lectures, times TBA.
two lab exercises that need to be completed. (but no tutorial or lab classes).
and a 1.5 hour in-person final exam at midday Saturday 9th.
In order to be accepted into the bridging course you must revive a mark of 75% or more in COMP1911.
