Hello everyone!
The company I work for is running a programming competition with $500+ worth of prizes for building a useful financial calculator over a 2 week period between weeks 4 and 6. You can view the details here .
This isn't a big technical challenge - the calculator in the competition is meant to be for every day people trying to do things like save for a house, budget for their family, or plan their retirement.
I know many of you are always looking for ways to exercise your frontend muscles and/or work on personal projects, so this is a great little thing to do and to be perfectly honest this particular event/competition was originally put forward to be targeted at 6080-style students.

The supplementary exam will be held from 2pm-5pm on the 25th of May (Wednesday). Details about the exam will be sent out at exam start (2pm) on the day.

I will email you all on Saturday morning with an intro to the course and how to get setup! Get excited. I'm trying to not burden you with information during your holidays. COMP6080 is setup very intentionally so that there is no "pre-work".
One final note is that
all classes
will be online for T1. I will elaborate more on why this is, and what this means, when I email you all on Saturday morning :)
