Hello everyone!
The company I work for is running a programming competition with $500+ worth of prizes for building a useful financial calculator over a 2 week period between weeks 4 and 6. You can view the details here .
This isn't a big technical challenge - the calculator in the competition is meant to be for every day people trying to do things like save for a house, budget for their family, or plan their retirement.
I know many of you are always looking for ways to exercise your frontend muscles and/or work on personal projects, so this is a great little thing to do and to be perfectly honest this particular event/competition was originally put forward to be targeted at 6080-style students.

The supplementary exam will be held from 2pm-5pm on the 25th of May (Wednesday). Details about the exam will be sent out at exam start (2pm) on the day.
