  • Clarifications

There was some confusion on what the fields were referring to. Here is an explanation:

    • "project" is the total project mark out of 25
    • "term100" is the sum of assignment and project marks scaled to 100
    • "exam100" is the exam mark out of 100 (My apologies, I didn't make that available earlier)
    • "final" is the overall score. This has to be 50 or more to pass the course. Note that harmonic mean was used to compute "final" from "term100" and "exam100", see course outline for the details.

  • Project, Exam and provisional final results are available

You can view your project, exam and provisional final results on the course website. Please note that:

    • The project is marked out of 25
    • The exam is marked out of 100
    • The provisional final results is out of 100. If your final is 50 or over, you have passed.

Please note that the final results are calculated based on an harmonic average formula, see the course outline for details. Please also note that the final results are provisional because the School has not approved them.

If you would like to view your exam paper, you can come to my office (608/K17) between 11:15am-12:15pm on Thur 23 May 2019.

If you cannot come during the above time slot, you can email me for an appointment.

    All the best!
