Dear Students,
By now you should have received an email from the school about your exam time, location, and seat.
See https://cgi.cse.unsw.edu.au/~exam/24T3/seating/register.cgi/allocations/ and log in for details.
If you can't find your exam details there, please contact the school directly via cse.exams@unsw.edu.au.
Please note that the exam allocations are not handled by the COMP9517 team, but by the school, so it's best to contact them.
Best regards,
Erik
Dear Students,
If you have formally applied for special consideration and have been granted a supp exam for COMP9517 this term, you should soon receive more detailed information from the School regarding the exact time and location.
All we know at this moment is that the supp exam will take place on Tuesday 21 January 2025. Like the original exam, it will be an in-person exam in the CSE labs and consist of multiple-choice questions only.
Best regards,
Erik
Dear Students,
The peer review for all groups is now open. This is for each member of the group to enter a participation percentage for all their own group members, including themselves. Please complete this activity by Friday, 22 November 2024, 6:00 PM.
To enter the peer-review, log in into Moodle and click on
Review your project team contribution.
Click 'Add submission' and submit an empty file. You will be taken to the review page, where you can select the percentages of all team member contributions, and optionally add comments (refer image below for the interface with a slider and comments section). Comments, if any, should include a statement about your own contribution and contributions of all other members. If applicable, please add links to any supporting evidence.
Please do not submit your comments/ peer-evaluation in a file under the assignment file submission link as it is only used to enable the percentage slider & comments section. Please submit an empty file there.
IMPORTANT :
If you do not follow these steps your comments might be viewable by other group members.
Please follow the instructions and post further questions on Ed.
Please note:
all group members must enter their peer-review. The project marking will not be completed unless all members fill this in.
Best regards, Piumi.
Hi Students,
We have compiled a series of example exam questions (with answers). See WebCMS3 > COMP9517 24T2 > Course Work > Assessments > Exam. The document also provides some further information about the exam.
The main purpose of the exam, as reflected in the example questions, is to test your knowledge and understanding of the concepts and methods taught in the course. Some questions may involve simple calculations related to these.
Good luck preparing for the exam in the coming weeks! If anything is unclear, please post your questions on the forum.
Cheers,
Erik
Dear Students,
The school informed us that there are CSE-wide issues affecting teaching servers. Some of you have already experienced difficulties submitting your group project deliverables today. The school's computer support team is working hard to fix the issues as soon as possible. Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, we decided to extend the submission deadline until Monday 18 December 2024 at 9AM Sydney time.
Best regards,
Erik
