  • Live Coding Sessions 4-5pm on Wednesdays

Posted by Adam Halmy Tuesday 01 June 2021, 09:36:25 PM.

    Hi everyone,

Just a reminder regarding the Live Coding Sessions mentioned in the lecture today. These will be held on Blackboard Collaborate (online) on Wednesdays from 4-5pm. They are currently scheduled for Week 1, 2 and 4 and may continue for the rest of the term if they are enjoyed.

These aren't compulsory, but will be highly useful to attend to learn how to approach coding questions. They'll be interactive and I'll often ask for suggestions and feedback on the code we write. They will also be recorded for students unable to attend or to watch at a later date. If you've got questions about these sessions or any relevant ideas/concepts you'd like me to cover, feel free to ask on the forum.

    See you there!

Posted by Mei Cheng Whale Monday 31 May 2021, 10:30:50 AM, last modified Monday 31 May 2021, 03:15:30 PM.

Students in the following classes attend their labs in-person:

    tue16a, wed11a, wed13a, thu14a, thu16a

If you are not enrolled in the above labs, it means your lab is online and you can ignore the rest of this notice

Your class is held in CSE computer lab named "Flute" located on Ainsworth Level 3, Room No. 303.

Ensure you bring your mask to campus and wear them in the lab if you can't maintain 1.5m social distance. If you have forgotten to bring one, they can be purchased from IGA, the pharmacy or the Post Office.

Your tutor will provide hand sanitiser and wipes to wipe the desk and any contact surface before and after use. Dispose of the wipes in the bin.

You should tap your student card on the card reader outside the lab door and also check in using the QR code displayed in the lab room.

Do not come to campus if you are unwell. Email en1811@cse.unsw.edu.au to arrange an alternative lab to attend that week.
