During the seminar week, you need to attend 4 seminars (other than your own).
I realise that the attendance sheet provided says 'at least 6'. You can ignore the blurb on the sheet.
Good luck with the seminar.
Under "Useful Resources" menu, you will find the intro lecture slides (the one I used), as well as a longer version of the intro lecture content.
To students who are staring Thesis A in S1, 2016,
The faculty is introducing a new thesis assessment scheme to make engineering undergraduate theses management more consistent across the schools. In CSE, the changes will apply to students who are starting Thesis A in S1, 2016 onwards.
From this semester, we will use WebCMS3 as the course Web site for thesis students (for current Thesis B students, please refer to the existing CSE Web site for information relevant to you).
This Web site will be used to communicate important notices, run a forum (Q/A), and provide some helpful resources throughout your thesis.
Thesis Computer Account
Your CSE account is upgraded automatically to accomodate extra disk space and quota within 24 hours of you enrolling in thesis.
Thesis Part A Lecture
Each semester there will be a lecture to help you get started on your thesis project. The lecture will cover such topics as: how to get started, researching the topic, developing ideas, evaluating research, presenting results, preparing a presentation, writing the thesis, relationship with supervisor, administrative requirements, etc.
