  • Important Admin - Tutorial Location Changes - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

    Dear COMP4920/9920 Students,

    We have an important administrative announcement that concerns students in tutorials on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Students with tutorials on Thursday and Friday can ignore what follows.

    Due to enrolment capacities, certain tutorials on Monday - Wednesday have had their locations changed. We apologise for the disruption this may cause, but it is the student's responsibility to be aware of and adapt to the venue allocation of their classes over the term.

    Welcome to 4920.

    Here's my updated post with UPDATES marked below, given several emails requesting clarifications.

    Please join us there.

    Our lecture times and locations are:
    - Tuesdays 2-4pm at the Keith Burrows Theatre (K-J14-G5) Theatre
    - Wednesdays 4-6pm at the Science Theatre.

    The lectures are in person only. And we have SNACKS :)

    UPDATE1:
    If you're enrolled into "online" lectures, note that there is no livestream for the lectures. We only have lecture recording post the lectures.
    The delivery mode for this course is in person. The "online" enrolment is to enable capacity management of the physical lectures, but to date, our lectures are always less than half full. I hope that will change from this term. So please come along even if you're enrolled in the "online" class.

    Tutorials are on from week 1, and tutorial exercises (part of your assessment) will commence from week 2 (see the course outline).

    UPDATE 2:
    The tutorial exercises will cover the material from the lectures and readings in the preceding week.
